Service is efficient, prices are reasonable and portion sizes are big. Another bonus is the large number of Turkish bottles on the wine list: a rarity in London. This is easily the best Turkish restaurant in the area, and it is comparable to many places on Green Lanes. The dining area is a simple room with tables and chairs and a massive charcoal grill, and thankfully this grill consistently delivers the goods.

My friends and I have been coming here for around 12 years and really missed it when it was closed for the duration of the building work. Last night and had a lovely evening, the food was great, the atmosphere buzzy and as usual, the service excellent. You just feel very well looked after. Thank you and all the best to all at Meze Mangal - the new space works very well and we are looking forward to our next visit.

The owners were very hands on and ready to advise us on what to order. We had selection of starters and it was delicious. The main courses were amazing, I recommend the lamb. The food is cooked on a show kitchen which adds to the experience. The restaurant was recently refurbished and it's clear they done it to a very high standard. I will definitely be coming back for more.
